Linda Sussman is the Kehilla Relationship Manager for the METNY District.
In 2001, in one of the most important moments in her life, Linda became an adult Bat Mitzvah. Her Jewish journey led to greater involvement in Synagogue life. She became a Shabbat regular and served on many committees until she eventually became President of her synagogue.
Working in the nonprofit world has been a passion of Linda’s for the past twenty years.
In 1991 she began volunteering in her children’s schools and found the work rewarding but found her enthusiasm belonged with the Jewish community. She joined the local board of Hadassah, where she became President of the Roslyn Young Leader group. In 2003 she was elected to join the Nassau Region Executive Board of Hadassah. Linda’s involvement in Hadassah has given her the opportunity to share her love of Israel with others.
Linda received a BS in Architecture from Ohio State University and in 1987 became a licensed architect. In 1992, she established her own architectural practice. She is now involved with Home Free Home, an organization that does pro bono architectural work for disabled people and their families.
Linda lives in East Hills with her husband Howard and their three children.
